While John Abraham’s last film Vedaa failed to create any impact at the box office, it seems like he is planning to bounce back. As per the latest update, the actor has announced the arrival of his film The Diplomat.
Notably, the film was supposed to be released on January 17 this year, John has now shared a new poster on his social media handles, revealing the new release date as March 7, 2025. John described the film as a “story of courage and diplomacy to life.”

The poster says that the film is based on a true story and the following words appear on top, “A True Hero Needs No Weapon.” Furthermore, John appears in a suit, which hints that the film will present John in a completely different form.
Although the basic premise remains a mystery until now, the film will possibly focus on an individual who is ready to save the country. Now this is just a speculation. The storyline might be something else.

However, the biggest question is whether John will be able to pull a large number of audiences to the theatres this time. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, people were always excited to see a film with John playing the lead. But it seems like that excitement does not exist anymore.
Except for Pathaan, where John played the main antagonist, all of his films have flopped after the pandemic and none of them received a positive response. While Vedaa was made on a minimal budget, the competition with Stree 2 and an outdated concept and storyline contributed to its failure.

All of these have proved that John needs to stick to multi starrer films instead of solo releases. Audiences are not interested to watch his solo films anymore and he should start getting used to it as soon as possible if he does not want to lose his stardom.
