BHEL | State-owned company clinched a significant order worth more than ₹3,500 crore from Adani Power Ltd (APL) to set up a 2×800 MW thermal power plant in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Also, it secured an order from Mirzapur Thermal Energy (UP) Private to set up a 2×800 MW thermal power project at Mirzapur Phase I in Uttar Pradesh.

Century Textiles | The company said its wholly-owned subsidiary Birla Estates has entered into a joint venture with Barmalt India for a luxury residential group housing development in Sector 31, Gurugram. The land parcel is spread across 13.27 acres with a development potential of 2.4 million square feet offering a revenue potential of ₹5,000 crore.

RVNL | The company said it has received multiple orders worth more than ₹500 crore. It received a letter of acceptance from Eastern Railway for the construction of the Sitarampur bypass line under the Asansol Division. The project is valued at ₹390.97 crore.

Torrent Pharma | The company said it has entered into a non-exclusive patent licensing agreement with Takeda to commercialise Vonoprazan in India. Torrent will market Vonoprazan under its own trademark, Kabvie, the company said in an exchange filing on Wednesday, June 5.

IEX | The company said it has achieved a total monthly volume of 10,633 MU in May 2024, reflecting a 28.9% year-over-year increase. Electricity volumes reached 9,568 MU, marking a 21% year-over-year growth. Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) saw a surge, with volumes hitting 1,055 MU, a staggering 640.3% year-over-year increase.

Kalpataru Projects | The Engineering firm said the Executive Committee of its board of directors will meet on Monday (June 10) to discuss and approve a proposal for raising funds. The company plans to issue non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis, subject to necessary approvals.

Uno Minda | The company said it has partnered with Inovance Automotive to strengthen its e-four-wheeler product portfolio. The joint venture will manufacture and sell high-voltage category EV products for passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles in India.

Concord Biotech | The company said Ireland’s health product regulatory authority has issued an EU Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certificate for Unit II of the Valthera facility in Gujarat.

IEX: Total volumes in May up 28.9% to 10,633 million units. Green market volume up 73.9% year-on-year to 622.2 million units. Electricity volumes up 21% from last year to 9,568 million units. Day-Ahead Market (DAM) volumes at 4,371 million units, up 7.5% from last year. Real-time electricity market at 3,352 million units, up 38.3% year-on-year.
