The songs from Shah Rukh Khan’s films have accumulated a huge fanbase for different reasons and one of them is the voice of Abhijeet Bhattacharya. The singer has now opened up on why they never collaborated in the last 17 years.
Abhijeet claimed in a recent interview that he was very young when he was singing for SRK, adding that they did not have a close friendship.

He further stated that he is different from everyone else since he returns home once he is done with his work at the studio.
Speaking of their fallout, Abhijeet said that no one tried to solve their differences and he never expected an apology from anyone. However, he mentioned that he is ready for another collaboration, if possible, in the future.

Furthermore, Abhijeet recalled the old days when jealousy used to be a common factor among stars, saying that he heard a few popular faces questioning him for giving his voice to a “stammerer.”
Abhijeet also agreed to the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s latest songs could not match the level of the ones that became popular in films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

In the same interview, Abhijeet spoke about Salman Khan, saying that he is not willing to discuss the superstar, requesting that no one should question him about Salman.
The specific reason behind Abhijeet and SRK’s fallout remains a mystery. But it seems like it might have been a small thing that escalated into a big issue.
Abhijeet returning to give a voice for SRK in the future might give some chartbusters. But it remains to be seen if that happens.
