SRH Flops, LSG Wins, Rishabh Pant 27 Cr Disaster

What a night in Hyderabad! Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) came in like kings and went out like clueless amateurs as Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) gave them a reality check in their own backyard.

The so-called “Orange Army” looked more like a bunch of lost tourists as they failed to defend a decent total of 190.

LSG played with confidence, swagger, and sheer dominance to chase it down with ease.

Once again, SRH fans were fed false hopes as their team posted what seemed like a good total. 190 on a Hyderabad pitch should have been enough, right?

But SRH’s bowling unit decided to take a nap at the worst possible time. Their bowlers had one job—to defend 190—but instead, they turned into friendly throwers and let LSG’s batters have a party.

Fielders? Well, calling them spectators would be more accurate. SRH’s fielding was as useful as a broken umbrella in a thunderstorm.

Misfields, dropped catches, and lazy efforts summed up their night. It was as if they were doing charity work, gifting LSG easy runs.

While SRH was crumbling under pressure, LSG showed how a proper T20 team plays. Their chase was class—aggressive, well-paced, and ruthless.

The batters made a mockery of SRH’s so-called “strong” bowling attack, treating them like club-level amateurs.

Hyderabad fans who started the night with high hopes were left shaking their heads in disappointment as LSG wrapped up the chase with 193 runs.

Now SRH will do what they do best—find excuses. Maybe they’ll blame the dew, maybe the pitch, maybe even the alignment of the stars.

But the reality is simple—they just weren’t good enough. Their bowlers had no clue how to defend a decent total, their fielders moved like they were stuck in slow motion, and their captain had no plan B.

It was a complete disaster and if they don’t fix these issues, they’ll soon become the joke of IPL 2025.

LSG looks like a team ready to dominate and SRH needs some serious introspection.

This wasn’t just a loss—it was a humiliation. They better wake up soon or they can start drafting their “We’ll Come Back Stronger Next Year” posts.

And speaking of underwhelming performances, Rishabh Pant, bought for a whopping 27 crore, managed just 15 runs off 15 balls. Let that sink in.
