Sreeleela’s Boost To Pushpa 2 With Kissik Song

Sreeleela’s Boost To Pushpa 2 With Kissik Song

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on December 5, with screenings in IMAX, 3D, 4DX, and ICE formats.

The film has already crossed $1 million in advance bookings in the USA, with 15 days to go.

These are impressive numbers for a usual pan-India film. But for a film like Pushpa 2, which has been generating immense hype and anticipation for the last three years, these figures seem a bit underwhelming.

The recently released trailer of Pushpa 2 has had a positive reception but has not significantly boosted pre-sales, which is not a good sign.

Based on the pace of the bookings, trade analysts predict that the Telugu version of Pushpa 2 may fall short compared to other Telugu pan-India biggies, with the Hindi version possibly carrying the film’s performance.

Now, much of the hope is pinned on the Sreeleela item song, ‘Kissik,’ to create a buzz and provide a significant push to the bookings.

A brief glimpse of Sreeleela in the Pushpa 2 trailer left fans in awe, and now, according to the latest reports, the lyrical version of the song is set to be released on November 23, 2024. Official confirmation is still awaited.

The minimum targets for Pushpa 2 include $20 million in the US, 350 crores gross in Telugu states, and 500 crores gross in Hindi. To achieve these, advance bookings need to pick up significantly.

The film must have massive openings, crossing the 250 crore gross worldwide mark on its first day, including paid premieres.

We’ll have to wait and see how the numbers jump in the coming days, as several promotional events are planned.
