Game Changer is facing a series of troubles before its release. Initially, the film struggled with shooting delays, followed by editing issues, pending CGI work, and promotional hiccups.
However, after overcoming these hurdles, Game Changer is finally set to release on January 10 as a Sankranti gift. While there are no issues in the Telugu market, the Tamil and Hindi markets are facing some roadblocks.

In Tamil Nadu, the film was encountering problems with the Lyca productions, which has raised concerns about the release of Game Changer without Indian 3 (Indian 2) being completed. This has led to the cancellation of the planned Tamil pre-release event.
Despite the producer, Dil Raju, announcing that there are no issues with the Tamil release, we will get clarity on the situation only after the first show is completed.

In the North, the film is facing competition from Fateh, a movie directed and starring Sonu Sood. It is also releasing on January 10.
Sonu Sood played villain in many Telugu movies including Ram Charan’s last movie Acharya. Now on-screen villain is turning real life villain for Ram Charan.

Although Fateh is only releasing in Hindi, there is a section of trade analysts who feel Fateh could overshadow Game Changer.
However, early reports suggest Fateh might not surpass 1 crore net on its opening day, while Game Changer in Hindi is expected to open with around 5-6 crores.
It will be a pretty ordinary start for Game Changer but if the word of mouth is good it can have a 3-4 week run and collect around 50-60 crores in Hindi.
