On Sunday, the ‘Dahaad’ actress who seems to be missing her mother, Poonam Sinha, took to her Instagram handle to share a couple of pictures with her parents from her dreamy wedding.
Sonakshi also revealed how her mother Poonam was in tears when she realized that her daughter would be moving out of the house after the marriage. She expressed, “At the wedding Maa started crying when it hit her i would be moving out of the house, i told her “Maa, dont worry… juhu to bandra only 25 mins. Missing them a lil extra today, so I’m telling myself the exact same thing ❤️ Hope theres Sunday sindhi curry made at home…See you soon… zoom zoom zoom 😂😂😂”
On the other hand, Shatrughan Sinha expressed gratitude on social media, thanking everyone for their heartfelt congratulatory messages.
The actor wrote, “Thanking everyone for their blessings love & warm congratulatory messages. But most touched to have received extremely heartwarming affectionate wishes from most learned, intellectual par excellence the great Arun Shourie elder brother, statesmanYashwant Sinha & of course the most deserving, Magsaysay Award winner Ravish Kumar for the ‘made for each other’ couple Sonakshi Sinha & Zaheer Iqbal.” As if to hammer home the point he was making, he concluded his tweet with the hashtag, “#SinhaParivar.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer also hosted a wedding bash at Bastian, which saw numerous Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Vidya Balan with Siddharth Roy Kapur, and veteran actress Saira Banu, among others in attendance.
