    Solid discounts on 2022 models


    The Japanese multinational automaker Nissan’s Indian subsidiary Nissan Motor India has discreetly introduced the new and updated 2023 model year of its popular subcompact SUV the Magnite. The company has given the model a ton of new safety features in an attempt to boost the sales of the SUV. As part of the new MY2023 update, the Nissan Magnite now gets additional safety features such as a tyre pressure monitor, hill start assist, traction control system, hydraulic brake assist, and vehicle dynamic control. The company has also hiked the price of the 2023 Magnite by Rs 20,500.

    Furthermore, the top-of-the-line variant – XV PRE, now also gets a host of new safety features. The top-end model now offers options including ISOFIX child seat anchorages, 360-degree cameras, anti-theft alarms, speed-sensing door locks, impact-detecting locks, and more in addition to the current ones and those that were previously stated.

    Nissan is also offering the MY2022 Magnite models with some attractive discounts. Earlier this month Nissan announced that in the month of February, the 2022 Magnite will get total benefits of up to Rs 82,100. The breakup of this total benefit includes, Pre-Maintenance Package which is valued at Rs 12,100 (for 3 years), exchange Bonus up to Rs 20,000, Cash/Accessories up to Rs 12,000, Corporate discount up to Rs 15,000, Loyalty bonus up to Rs 10,000 and also an online Booking Bonus of Rs 2,000.

    Additionally the company is also offering the MY2023 with benefits totaling up to Rs 71,950. Nissan is offering the 2023 Magnite with all the same benefits as the 2022 model except for the Pre-Maintenance Package and Corporate Discount. The 2023 model gets Rs 6,950 Pre-Maintenance Package and Rs 10,000 corporate discount instead of Rs 15,000.

    There have been no alterations made to the powertrain of the 2023 Magnite it will still come available with a 1.0 litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 72 Ps and 96 Nm of peak torque. Other engine option available with Magnite is a 1.0 litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that generates 100 Ps and a maximum of 160 Nm torque.

    Earlier in July of last year, the company also launched the RED Edition of the Magnite starting at Rs. 7,86,500 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Magnite RED Edition is based on the widely popular Magnite XV variant. Also, the Magnite XV MT RED Edition, Magnite Turbo XV MT RED Edition, and Magnite Turbo XV CVT RED Edition are the three variations that are currently available. For the colours, Onyx Black and Storm White are the two Monotone colour choices for the Magnite RED Edition.

    In terms of changes the front grille, front bumper cladding, wheel arch, and body side cladding all have received a unique red accent that distinguishes the RED Edition from other models. Meanwhile, the interior gets a centre console with a red accent, a door side armrest with a luxury red motif, and a red dashboard. Bold body graphics, a tail door garnish, and a large RED Edition-specific insignia are also some of the major design upgrades. The R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, an LED fog lamp and LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) are all still part of the RED Edition like the normal top-spec model.
