Akshay Kumar’s patriotic spectacle Sky Force opened to a mild reception from the audiences and the first day is not going how the Khiladi of Bollywood might have imagined it to go.
With strong pre-booking sales for the film, it looked to have a decent start at the theatres for Akshay Kumar. However, with an occupancy of just 10%, viewers were not in the mood to watch a patriotic drama on a Friday morning.

While the film didn’t have many expectations to bolster any box office record or have Housefull shows, with an accurate occupancy of 10.26%, the film has underperformed at the box office.
Having more morning occupancy than Ram Charan’s Game Changer (9.10%), the film shockingly failed to outperform Sonu Sood’s Fateh which had a morning occupancy of 10.6%.

As the numbers might be shocking, it is evident that Akshay Kumar needs some out-of-the-box project to have a huge grip over the box office. Introducing new talents like Veer Pahariya is also not a booster for the film.
While the film looks to have a stronghold at the box office in terms of occupancy in evening and night shows, the only time will be if the Akshay Kumar starrer will be able to bounce back on the weekend which remains crucial for the film.
