After a somewhat successful 3-day weekend run of Sky Force, a Monday test was crucial to determine the future of the film.
If the film had seen a good collection on Monday, it would have assured a promising future for the film. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

The film collected about Rs 13 – 14 crores on its opening day. Its Monday collection fell more than 50% from its first-day collection, amounting to only Rs 5 – 6 crores.
The film earned a total of Rs 62 crores during the weekend. However, the real collection of the film after the heavy discount on tickets is unclear.

The tickets were offered at 80-90% discounted price, but it seems their collection is calculated without keeping in mind the discounted amount.
Rs 62 crores would have been a strong figure if the collection amount wasn’t tampered with. But that is not the case.

With such a huge drop in its collection on Monday, the journey of the film seems difficult.
Fans liked the film, and critics even praised it highly. But despite all this, its Monday collection stooped low.
If the film had earned somewhere between Rs 8 – 10 crores on Monday, it could have been called a success at the box office. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case here.
Market reports estimate that Sky Force will be able to earn up to Rs 100 crores in its entire run. Even still the film won’t be considered a hit due to its tampering with the box office collection with various discounts and coupons.
