This initiative has received widespread praise, especially from families of individuals with special needs, as very few mainstream films or theatres have taken such steps to ensure accessibility and comfort.
In regular movie screenings, people with special needs are often shushed for speaking a little loudly, fidgeting, or taking a walk, things they often can’t help. Many families even avoid visiting theatres altogether because of this discomfort.

These sensory-friendly viewings offer a safe, welcoming space where everyone can enjoy the magic of cinema without fear of judgment, and that’s truly commendable.
Some fans have even suggested that such screenings should be held at least once a week, so individuals with special needs can regularly enjoy their favorite films and stars on the big screen.
If this becomes a regular practice, it would be a huge step forward for inclusivity in Indian cinema.
