Singham Again Trailer Releases On October 7: Another Adaptation of Ramayana

Singham Again is gearing up for a grand Diwali release on November 1, 2024, and fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting its arrival.

The trailer will drop tomorrow at a big event, building excitement for the film, which blends mythology with high-octane action.

According to the reports, director Rohit Shetty has drawn inspiration from the Ramayana for the storyline, with Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham leading the charge.

The movie portrays Ajay as Ram, Kareena Kapoor as Sita, Akshay Kumar as Lakshman, Ranveer Singh as Hanuman, and Arjun Kapoor as Ravan.

The plot sees Singham and his team of cops heading to Sri Lanka to face Arjun Kapoor’s villainous character, paralleling Ram’s journey to Lanka in the epic.

However, some viewers feel that retellings of the Ramayana are becoming repetitive, especially after recent films like Adipurush and the upcoming Ranbir Kapoor-Sai Pallavi film.

The film, a part of Shetty’s cop universe, will also feature prominent characters like Simmba, Sooryavanshi, Lady Singham, and Satya, making it more than just a multiverse movie.

The film is poised to set the stage for future installments of the cop universe, with a large ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and more.

Predictions are high for Singham Again, with expectations of it being the most successful film in the series and possibly the highest-grossing police drama in Hindi cinema, targeting a minimum of 400 crore at the Indian box office.

However, it faces a box office clash with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
