M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Hero Satyadev ahead of the release of his next Zebra on the 22nd of this month.

“The white and black stripes in Zebra are used as a metaphor for White and Black money. The film is about how a big amount is transferred to an unintended beneficiary and the rest is the chaos that happens in the recovery. It is a proper commercial film,” Satyadev narrated.

We asked him if he was disappointed with Lucky Bashkar a film on banking frauds released so close to Zebra meaning the novelty of the genre is lost.

“I don’t think so. I take it in a positive sense. People will be more receptive now I believe,” he said. He also responded to the claims that genres like this have limited box office pull. “Banking fraud is a very basic foundation in our films. There is so much drama on the top,” he says.
