It’s been almost a year since Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan was released in theatres and it unexpectedly turned out to be a big hit at the box office. Notably, Shaitaan was a remake of Gujarati film Vash, with minor changes made to certain portions of the film.
The original film ended on a cliffhanger and the news of Vash 2 has been making rounds of the internet for a long time. Back in January this year, it was reported that Krishnadev Yagnik had also begun filming for his scenes in Ahmedabad.

The latest update is that Vash 2 has been wrapped up and it has now led to excitement among Ajay Devgn’s fans, since they are expecting a sequel to Shaitaan.
Vash was a film that was not known to anyone until Shaitaan was released last year. Apart from this, Ajay Devgn also contributed to increasing the popularity of the Drishyam franchise among North Indian audiences.

But the question is how long will it take for Shaitaan 2 to arrive in theatres. The only answer is that everything is dependent on when Vash 2 will be released. Although filming has been wrapped up, the makers of Vash 2 have not shared anything about a potential release date.
Even if Vash 2 arrives sometime this year, Shaitaan 2 might take 3-4 years or more since Ajay Devgn has a long list of films in his upcoming lineup, which means he will be extremely busy and will possibly start working for Shaitaan 2 after completing a few of his pending projects.

However, considering the hype that was created by the first film, Shaitaan 2 is expected to do well at the box office. But it remains to be seen how the makers are going to impress the audiences with a flawless screenplay.
Ajay Devgn has already been a sequel king for a long time. A few of them are also releasing this year and in the upcoming years, including De De Pyaar De 2, Dhamaal 4, Raid 2, and Son of Sardaar 2.
