By India Today Entertainment Desk: It was back in 2015 that Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput. His decision had left many surprised, as Mira was not from any filmy background. Now, the actor has revealed that before she walked into his life, and his house, he had been living with just two spoons and a plate at his place.
SHAHID HAD TWO SPOONS, ONE PLATE BEFORE WEDDING WITH MIRA
In an interview with Instant Bollywod, Shahid Kapoor opened up about how he had been living before his wedding with Mira Rajput. He said, “When we got married, I had just shifted into a house, and so Mira came into that house, and she complained a lot about it. She said you have only two spoons and one plate in this house. How do you even live? I said ‘I live alone, how do you want me to live’?”
He further added, “She said we don’t even have a set. What if guests come, how do you serve people? I said ‘I don’t know, we order out.’ So now that we have a new house, we could make it the way she wanted it to be and she was happy. It is a house which is made for the family and so both of us have worked towards it.”

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are undoubtedly the cutest couples in Bollywood. Recently, Shahid completed 20 glorious years in the Hindi cinema and his wife Mira threw a grand party for him.
Mira took to her Instagram stories and dropped a glimpse of the party’s decor. In the picture, a big photo of Shahid was placed along with a huge reel, and the background was illuminated with lights.

Shahid Kapoor is busy with the promotion of his next, Bloody Daddy. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the actor will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. The film will stream on Jio Cinema from June 9. Apart from this, he also has a film opposite Kriti Sanon. He recently wrapped the shoot of the project.
