Shah Rukh Khan was recently spotted at the 77th Locarno Film Festival where he has been awarded the Pardo alla Carriera, a lifetime achievement award. Now, he is set to work on his next project which is named King. It will be an action film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and the star cast also includes Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma.

Shah Rukh Khan opened up about his preparation with the interviewer at Locarno Film Festival. Khan now aims to focus on age specific roles and for the preparation of King he will also lose weight. With Abhishek in a villainous role, the film will have high-end action and the stars have also started training for it. The story centres around a mentor and young disciple who are set against a dubious nemesis. Earlier, the Badla director Sujoy Ghosh has collaborated with Abhishek for Bob Biswas which was produced by Shahrukh Rukh’s Red Chilli Entertainments.
King will also mark Suhana’s debut on the big screen. Her career was launched with the Netflix release Archies which was directed by Zoya Akhtar. Further updates and revelations about the project will be brought to you as soon as we get it. Critics’ reception can only reveal how well the film fares in terms of plot and performance. However, the fans are super excited to witness King Khan in an action movie after his blockbuster role in Pathaan and Jawan.
