YRF Spy Universe is all set to expand with big projects. One of them is Pathaan 2, which was confirmed earlier this year. While audiences are eagerly waiting to witness Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen, writer Abbas Tyrewala gave a few updates about the same.
Abbas, who also wrote the first film, stated in a recent interview on Cyrus Says that the sequel’s script is complete and now the dialogues have to be written. He mentioned that War 2 is being shot, which is confirmed to arrive next year.

Notably, Abbas did not disclose anything else about who would helm the project or play the main antagonist. However, various reports from other outlets have claimed for now that Siddharth Anand won’t return as the director. Instead, he would be involved with Tiger vs Pathaan.
On the other hand, Abbas shared a few more details about SRK’s upcoming film King, saying that he has prepared the first draft of the dialogues. This one would mark the first collaboration of director Sujoy Ghosh with King Khan.

Although War 2 is on the way, there is a possibility that Khan might make a cameo appearance in it as Pathaan. The same might happen with Alpha, which is the first female spy film in this franchise. Meanwhile, further updates are currently awaited on the release date of Pathaan 2.
