A schoolgirl in Tamil Nadu’s Tirupattur district was forced to run behind a government bus that failed to stop at the designated stop, delaying her arrival at the exam center. The incident, captured on video, quickly went viral, prompting swift action from transport authorities.
The girl was waiting at the Kothakottai bus stop around 8 a.m., intending to reach Nimmiyambattu Government Higher Secondary School, three kilometers away, for her board exam. Despite her visible attempts to signal the driver, the Tirupattur-Alangayam bus did not stop, forcing her to chase it. She eventually managed to board but only after significant effort and risk.
