    In Tollywood, breaking through without a film background is rare, but Natural Star Nani has made a significant mark with his unique choice of films and subjects.

    Following the successes of Dasara and Hi Nanna, Nani’s latest venture is Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, directed by Vivek Athreya.

    After the debacle of their previous film “Ante Sundaraniki,” they were expected to bounce back big time with Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. There were significant expectations from the film but the film turned out to be just an okay watch and that too due to SJ Suryah’s performance.

    The film did well in the US but in the Telugu states it turned out to be average to above average at the box office.

    Released on August 29, the film is now gearing up for its OTT premiere. Netflix has acquired its streaming rights.

    In a twist, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram will stream on Netflix a day earlier than initially planned. Instead of the original September 27 date, it will premiere on September 26, with an official announcement expected soon.

    NTR’s much anticipated Devara is releasing on September 27. It will be interesting to see what viewership Saripodhaa Sanivaaram garners on Netflix amid the Devara frenzy.

    It will be intriguing to see whether Nani’s Saripodhaa Sanivaaram fares better with the OTT audience compared to its theatrical reception. While the film managed to secure only a passing grade, its performance on streaming platforms could potentially offer a different outcome.

    The shift from theater to OTT often provides a fresh perspective, so it remains to be seen if Saripodhaa Sanivaaram will achieve a more favorable reception in the digital space.
