Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is wreaking havoc at the box office, especially in Hindi. After breaking all records on the first day by collecting over 250 crores worldwide gross, the film is now on course to cross 1000 crores within 10 days.
Recently it was thought to be impossible to break the 220 crore first-day gross of RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli. But Pushpa broke it with a huge margin.

Until now, there were only non-SSR and non-Baahubali records. From now on, it will be non-Pushpa 2 records.
A few months ago, Sandeep Reddy Vanga was asked about his expectations for the first-day collections of his film with Prabhas, titled Spirit.

After thinking for a moment, Sandeep Reddy Vanga replied that 150 crores would be the target for the film.
Now, it can be said with full honesty that Vanga grossly underestimated the potential of his film. If everything falls in place, Spirit is the only film that has the potential to touch a 300-crore worldwide gross on the first day. A 200-crore gross seems a sure shot, but the film also has the potential to reach 300 crores.

The film is carrying unanimous hype from North to South because of Sandeep Vanga’s brand and Prabhas’ stardom. If both join forces, beating Pushpa 2 shouldn’t be that difficult.
