Samsung introduced the Galaxy M35 in Brazil and is already available for purchase. It is very similar to the Galaxy A35, except that it has a larger 6,000mAh battery (that is 1,000mAh more than the A-series phone).

The phone is priced at BRL 2,700, however, it is available with a 10% discount right now (so its price is BRL 2,430 – this converts to $470/€435/₹39,000).

The Samsung Galaxy M35 is powered by the Exynos 1380 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage, plus a microSD slot. It runs Android 14 out of the box (One UI 6.1) and will receive 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.

Like the A35, it has a 6.6” FHD+ 120Hz OLED display. It has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. There’s no word on the protective glass, though. The extra battery made the phone chunkier, it measures 9.1mm thick and weighs 222g, compared to the 8.2mm and 209g of the A35.

Around back is a 50MP main camera (with OIS) and an 8MP ultra wide (plus a 2MP macro module instead of 5MP). Video recording offers a 4K @ 30fps mode as well as 240fps at 720p. The front-facing camera is a 13MP unit punch holed into the display.

The Galaxy M35 is the first of the M3x series with stereo speakers (joining the M55) and it has Dolby Atmos support to boot. There is no headphone jack, though.

Unlike the A35, the M35’s fingerprint reader is mounted on the side (integrated into the power button). The phone supports Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.3, plus USB-C (USB 2.0, so no DeX). This port also handles charging – the familiar wired-only 25W charging of so many Samsung phones.

The Samsung Galaxy M35 is available in Dark Blue, Light Blue and Gray. You can find it on the Samsung Online Store in Brazil (and only there, at least for now).
