The comments on Sakshi TV – “Amaravati is the Capital of Sex Workers” have created a Huge Stir in AP Politics.
The video went viral on Social Media and WhatsApp, and then people of Amaravati, especially the women, hit the roads and are protesting against Sakshi and YSR Congress for insulting the Capital Region and the women there.

After Kommineni Srinivas Rao’s arrest, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy called for a Press Meet in the defense of their Journalist, but only made a mess of things.
Sajjala tried to reason that Kommineni apologized, and TDP is trying to orchestrate a fake movement to defame Sakshi and the YSR Congress.

The words used by Sajjala in this context are very objectionable.
“మహిళలను జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి అవమానిస్తారా? ఆయన ఛానల్ అవమానిస్తాదా? మీ కడుపు మంట తో మీ అక్కసు అంత అసహ్యకరమైన రీతిలో తప్పుడు దాని మీద వేసేసి… ఫోటోలను చెప్పులతో కొట్టి… పిశాచాలు కూడా ఇలా చెయ్యవు… రాక్షసులు కూడా అనలేం. ఇవన్నీ కలిసి ఒక సంకర తెగ అయితే గానీ ఇలా చెయ్యలేవు. పైగా ఈ తెగ అంతా ఆర్గనైజ్డ్… సమన్వయంతో పని చేస్తుంది. కమ్ముకుని దెబ్బ కొట్టాలని చూస్తుంది,” Sajjala said.

It is clear that Sajjala has used objectionable words against the Protesting women, and this may be used against him.
TDP Supporters are demanding that a case be registered against Sajjala.
Keeping aside that aspect, it is clear that YSR Congress is harboring the same hate against Amaravati.
YSR Congress refuses to accept the Amaravati Sentiment.
They are not ready to respect the people of Amaravati and their sentiments.
They do not have any remorse for using that kind of language on Amaravati, and they refuse to accept that people living there were hurt.
They are continuing the same stand that Amaravati farmers and women are Paid Artists.
This is a continuation of their harassment and abuses of the Amaravati farmers, like how they did between 2019 and 2024.
We can also consider this stand as YSR Congress’s official stand on Amaravati.
The people of Krishna and Guntur districts can have their expectations accordingly. And naturally, once the Capital booms, everyone in the state will understand.
