Director Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee Manjrekar made a high-profile debut with Dabanng 3 opposite Salman Khan in 2019. But the film flopped badly.
She then starred in films like Ghani, Major, Skanda, and Kuch Khatta Ho Jaay. Out of these, Major was a big hit in Telugu but flopped in Hindi. Others were all huge flops, according to trade experts.
She had pinned lots of hope on her latest film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha also starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shantanu. In the film, she played the younger version of Tabu.
The film has turned out to be an unmitigated disaster. The film opened to terrible reviews and disastrous collections. The first weekend collections were around 5 crores and the lifetime of the film will not cross 10 crores, which is embarrassing.
Saiee is extremely beautiful and has decent acting skills. But she is not getting the success she deserves. Also, there is no clarity on her future projects.
Let’s hope some good director casts her in a decent film and she finds some success soon.
