Sai Pallavi Not The Only One

Ranbir Kapoor has a long list of projects in his upcoming lineup. This includes Ramayana, which is helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and will arrive in two parts in 2026 and 2027. The film has been in the headlines for a long time due to certain scandals being reported by different sources.

Coming to the list of controversies, the first involves Sai Pallavi, who portrays Sita. While there were rumors that the actress was not having non-vegetarian food to prepare for the role, Sai denied the same by confirming that she has been a vegetarian over the years.

Before Sai Pallavi was cast as the lead, Kareena Kapoor Khan was also approached for Sita and she reportedly asked for a fee of Rs. 12 crores. Kareena later called the claims fake in an interview, saying that she was never approached for the role.

Dipika Chiklia, who portrayed Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, expressed her dissatisfaction with Nitesh for making the film. Dipika said that it should not be made frequently since makers have a habit of changing a lot of things, including the story.
