Rushikonda Palace Scam: Jagan’s Mark Innovation

Everyone knows about the scandal behind the construction of Rushikonda Palace, built by former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. What was initially constructed as a personal palace was later projected as a tourism resort.

Today, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited this luxurious palace with cabinet ministers, MLAs, and MPs. Some exclusive visuals of the palace were also released to the media.

Speaking to the media, Chandrababu Naidu stated that he had never seen a Chief Minister harm the environment to construct a palace solely for personal luxury.

He noted that Jagan failed to allocate a total of Rs. 400 crores for all irrigation projects in the Uttarandhra region but spent 450 crores on the construction of Rushikonda Palace.

Naidu revealed that 36 lakhs were spent on just a single bathtub and 12 lakhs on one bathroom commode. He stated a 100 kV substation and a 200-ton centralized AC system were also set up for the palace.

He also said that the fans in the palace resemble chandeliers, something he had never seen before. Naidu stated that, despite visiting many countries in his life, he still couldn’t understand how these YCP thieves came up with such innovative ideas.

He added that all this was done by looting public money and violating laws, saying that Jagan carried out these actions thinking he would remain in power forever
