Finally, after a long wait, the Tata Altroz Racer is arriving tomorrow. The hot hatch was first showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo in a near production ready form. Since then we have seen the hatchback testing numerous time along with an official showcase at the Bharat Mobility Show 2024. Tata Altroz Racer – Launch & Price
But first, let’s talk about the launch and price expectation of the Altroz Racer. As mentioned, the all new Tata Altroz Racer is set to get launched tomorrow, dated – 7th June 2024. Soon, we are also going to drive the car and share our first impressions. But what pricing to expect tomorrow? Well, the Altroz Racer will be a direct rival of the Hyundai i20 N Line and we can expect a similar pricing for the Indian hatchback. That said, expect a price range of Rs 11.50 to Rs 14 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

What Else?
Tata Altroz Racer will likely be available in three major variants – R1, R2, & R3. Also, it is said that the car will be offered in three colours – White, Grey, & Orange. All three will be available with blacked-out roof & bonnet with white racing stripes. On the outside, the only major change the Racer will get over the regular Altroz are the dual exhaust tail pipes! And they are not just for show! Other than that, there are not many design changes, except the new spoiler and Racer Edition & iTurbo+ badges.
The major changes can be seen on the inside of the Altroz Racer. Firstly, it gets an all black interior with orange inserts around the AC vents and gear lever. Even the leatherette seats get orange and white treatment for sporty appeal. Rest, the Altroz Racer now brings a lot of new features for the Altroz line-up. These include – ventilated seats, 10.25-inch touchscreen system, 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, head-up display, 360-degree camera, and more.

Tata Altroz Racer – Engine Specifications
Now here’s what makes the Altroz Racer so much special, the performance! Tata ALtroz Racer will come equipped with Nexon’s 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine produces 118bhp & 170Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties will be handled by a sole 6-speed manual transmission. The Altroz already has one of the best driving dynamics and with the new engine, it should really enhance the fun of India’s new hot hatch!
