Ajay Devgn and Director Rohit Shetty have built an unbeatable legacy on Diwali for themselves. The duo has collaborated on a total of five films released on Diwali, and each one of them has been a success.

Their upcoming film Singham Again is all set to hit the theatres this Diwali, making it their 12th collaboration, and the 6th film of the duo to get released on Diwali. Singham Again is the latest addition to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, and the film promises to uplift it to new heights.
Often referred to as the “Avengers” of the Cop Universe, Singham Again features a powerful cast including Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone, making it one of Rohit Shetty’s most ambitious projects. There have also been several hints that the film will feature some elements from the Ramayana, thus giving it a cultural depth as well.

However, Rohit Shetty will not have a monopoly when it comes to releases this Diwali. Bhool Bhulaiya 3, starring Kartik Aryan is set to release on Diwali as well and is expected to give a tough neck-to-neck competition to Singham Again.
So the big question remains: Will Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn be able to maintain their perfect success rate of 100%, or will this prove to be an anomaly, breaking their past track record? Colliding head-on with Bhool Bhulaiya 3 would not be an easy feat, and word of mouth will play a major role in deciding who the public showers with more love.
