Barcelona star Lamine Yamal is busy celebrating winning the European Championship with Spain after playing a key role for Luis de la Fuente’s side.
The 17-year-old won the Young Player of the Tournament award in Germany after scoring and grabbing four assists as Spain emerged as champions.
There’s no doubt that Yamal lit up the tournament and his team-mates are obviously well aware of just what he’s capable of.
Spain star Rodri has been captured whispering some words of advice into Lamine’s ear after the win over England in a clip that’s gone viral on social media.
“Keep working brother, keep working, you can achieve anything that you desire,” he says to his 17-year-old Spain team-mate.
Rodri to Lamine:
“Sigue trabajando hermano, sigue trabajando, por que puedes conseguir lo que quieras.”

Yamal certainly seems to have the world at his feet right now. He’s beaten records previously held by Pele at Euro 2024 and cemented his place as a vital player for the national team despite having only just turned 17.
Much will be expected of Yamal next season at Barcelona too, particularly if the club bring in his good friend Nico Williams to play alongside the teenager in the Catalans’s attack.
