Jorginho lost form at his former side Chelsea after misplacing two of his lucky bracelets, according to a new interview by the woman at the centre of a late-night row with the Arsenal midfielder’s fiancee Catherine Harding.
Vanessa Sandora was first contacted by Harding last month via alleged anonymous phone calls, several years after her last meeting with the Italy international, with Harding turning up on the doorstep of her Chelsea home at 11.30pm on December 4.
In a video captured by Sandora’s Ring doorbell camera, Harding reportedly confronted the 34-year-old beautician over the nature of her former relationship with Jorginho.
Sandora is said to have met the player three times – who began seeing now-fiancee Harding in 2020 – including a rendez-vous at west London restaurant Stecca, but deleted Jorginho’s social media profile from her account shortly after in December 2022.
But one of these meetings may have had a seismic effect on the midfielder’s game – and prompted his most recent change of club.
The 33-year-old went through a more difficult spell at Chelsea in the aftermath of winning the Champions League under former head coach Thomas Tuchel in 2021.

As per the Sun, mutual friends told Sandora that he placed the blame at his losing his lucky bracelets, which he had taken off in her company.
Describing how the midfielder had ‘left behind’ the ‘beaded bracelets’, Sandora claimed that she didn’t think too much about him doing so, until she heard he was keen to see them returned.
‘I heard he wanted them back but I couldn’t find them anywhere,’ Sandora told the outlet. ‘Afterwards his form for Chelsea dipped and I was told by friends he blamed the fact he wasn’t wearing his lucky bracelets.
‘Apparently they’d been blessed in a church. Without them he felt he wasn’t the same player.’
Jorginho moved away from Stamford Bridge in January 2023, joining the Gunners on an initial one-and-a-half-year deal that was extended in May of this year.
After Harding appeared on Sandora’s doorstep at the start of the month, Sandora shared that she felt it her duty to answer any questions the player’s fiancee had about her brief encounter with him.
The beautician told how she had informed Harding of her past meet-ups, before adding that he’s ‘not really my type’ and that she was left ‘unfazed’ by their meetings as she was not ‘into football’.
It is claimed that Sandora’s ex-boyfriend was the one who contacted Harding to tell her of the pair’s past meetings in order to ’cause trouble’.
The couple have been together since 2020 and share a four-year-old son named Jax

Insisting that she had no intention of getting involved with the footballer, Vanessa added: ‘I’m not a floozy. I told her I’m not interested in her bloke. But since then she’s been messaging me and won’t let it lie. She needs to move on and leave me out of her life.’
Jorginho and Harding – who previously appeared on The Voice in 2020 under the name Cat Cavelli – became engaged last year after the Arsenal star popped the question with a romantic proposal.
The footballer got down on one knee for the singer surrounded by red roses and candles, while being serenaded by a violinist.
The couple share a son named Jax, four, and both Jorginho and Harding have children from previous relationships.
Harding shared a slew of snaps from the sweet moment to her Instagram and captioned them: ‘My love’ with an infinity symbol and diamond ring emoji.
She also posted a video of the proposal which captured the moment that Jorginho surprised her, set to John Legend’s Never Break.
She captioned the sweet clip: ‘The next chapter in our story.’
The Arsenal midfielder – whose full name is Jorge Luiz Frello Filho Cavaliere OMRI – is thought to have been dating Harding for over four years.
