This morning, the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) started the demolition of N-Convention, owned by actor Nagarjuna.
As per the reports, N-Convention was constructed in the buffer zone of Thimmidikunta Lake, located in the Kothaguda area of Hi-Tech city.

HYDRAA received a complaint stating that the convention was built by illegally encroaching three-and-half acre land near the lake.
However, Chief Minister Revanth’s stance against N-Convention’s encroachments is not new. He spoke against the building in the past as well.

An old video of Revanth Reddy speaking about this illegal construction has landed on social media. Speaking at the assembly in the past, Revanth Reddy, representing TDP as an MLA, stated that N-Convention was built by illegally encroaching on the lake’s land by building a wall.
He pointed out that even after repeated complaints, the (former) BRS government failed to take any action against the N-Convention.

As Revanth said, many complaints were received against N-Convention in the past but no action had been taken.
Finally, HYDRAA came into action today and started demolishing this construction.
Over the last few days, HYDRAA has been demolishing various illegal constructions that were built by encroaching lakes in the city.
