The second song from Devara, “Chuttamalle,” is out, and the first impression is that it is just decent.
It’s refreshing to see NTR, who commands a massive following, doing a romantic number after a long time.

Firstly, the visuals and quality of the production look fantastic. It shows the high quality of the scale of the film, even though we are talking about a romantic number here.
But, the song and the dance steps shown in the lyrical video are just decent. There is no magical dance move from NTR in this video, aside from a knee step, which is not enough these days when dance reels are ruling the internet.

Janhvi Kapoor steals the show with her glamour, matching the star hero’s aura, which instantly grabs attention.
This type of song may work well in the movie, or people may forget it sooner. A section of music lovers might find it better after repeated listening.

We need to give it time to see how it will penetrate over the next few weeks, as songs that are not instant chartbusters are slowly growing these days, if not all, at least some.
