Xiaomi’s brand Redmi is launching the Note 13 Pro series tomorrow, and it has already showcased the hero color option of the Note 13 Pro+ – a leather variant with four different colors on the back. Today, the company revealed the other two paint jobs – one is called Porcelain White (not made from actual porcelain) and Midnight Black.
The new smartphone will have a 200 MP camera with OIS and a “large aperture”. Redmi proudly announced on Weibo the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will produce better-than-ever night-time photos. It will also come with IP68 protection against water and dust ingress, thanks to a new architecture, allowing for a new frame that is easy to be insulated, protecting the insides from the elements.
Getting back to the colors, the Porcelain White will have a “ceramic texture glass body”, as per the official Weibo profile, while the Midnight Black is called by Redmi “a classic choice”. The top part is transparent glass, while the bottom is frosted but the whole panel is a one-piece glass.
The launch is taking place tomorrow, September 21. The event will be held in China, meaning we have to wait a bit more for an international launch. We will also see the announcement of the TWS wearables Redmi Buds 5 with 46 dB noise reduction.
