Rashmika Mandanna is set to reprise her iconic character Srivalli in Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar. The trailer of Pushpa 2 dropped recently and has taken the internet by storm.
Rashmika’s character in the trailer has been widely appreciated. She even seems to dominate Allu Arjun, who is reprising the role of her husband, Pushparaj.

However, some netizens have noticed a funeral scene in the trailer and are speculating that Srivalli dies in the film.
Just as Srinidhi Shetty’s character Reena dies in KGF Chapter 2, Rashmika’s character Srivalli might also die in Pushpa 2, creating a tragic angle in the second half of the film.

Many on social media are saying that if this happens, it would be unfortunate as Pushpa is incomplete without Srivalli. They also argue that Srivalli’s death would tarnish Pushpa’s character as a husband who couldn’t even save his wife. What kind of hero would that make him?
Meanwhile, there are also comments suggesting that in the funeral scene, it is actor Rao Ramesh and not Allu Arjun. So, it might not be Srivalli who dies but someone else.
