Ramoji Rao’s Final Fight, ETV Win Messes Up Completely

ETV Win‘s latest Web Series had a controversial scene about how Caste Feeling is rampant in the Kamma Community.

Showing the context of Freshers in a Junior College, the show tried to show the community in a very poor light. The scene also invoked the Telugu Desam Party and made objectionable inferences about the community.

ETV Win team tried to brush off their responsibility by tendering a soft apology. In fact, there is no apology in the statement they released.

The Web Series tried to generalize stray incidents that happened many years ago and tried to portray the entire community as Caste Fanatics.

The society should progress forward over the years. But thanks to the Social Media, blind hatred towards a caste overshadowed the casteism in recent times.

People show random examples of few bad apples and paint the entire community in the same light.

These bad apples do exists in all communities – Reddy, Kapu, Kshatriya, whatever.

Why are the pictures of Vangaveeti Ranga on the films of Mega heroes in many places?

Why do Prabhas command highest following only in Bhimavaram?

Why some Reddys adore Nithin even with a dismal track record?

It has got nothing to do with the entire population of those communities. As said earlier, bad apples do exist in every community.

Why no of those figured in this Web Series except for the Kamma Community?

But then, there is a co-ordinated attack only on the Kamma Community in recent years to tarnish the image of the community as well as the Telugu Desam Party.

This attack initially aimed at hitting the Telugu Desam Party has become a weapon to alienate a community.

The Legendary Ramoji Rao fought against this vilification till his last breath.

ETV Win, which claims highest degree of Editorial Standards just supplied fodder to this dirty culture.

It is not a single dialogue or a shot for the watchful eyes of Eenadu Group to miss. It is a complete episode conceptualized, written, and shot to execute with a perfect plan and malicious intent.

ETV Win Team should come up with a better explanation about how this happened.

This is definitely not the standard expected from the company of Ramoji Rao’s Group.

This does not end here. That clip will continue to exist on Social Media forever and will become a Propaganda Tool in the hands of a few people and groups. The management and folks behind this at ETV Win should be ashamed of what they have done.

ETV Win is just about the success of #90s Web Series and they may have killed their goodwill successfully. This will definitely impact on the subscriptions of the App.
