Ram Talluri to Revive His Old Project with Pawan Kalyan

Fans were on cloud nine after Pawan Kalyan became the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. But when it comes to cinema, many still have complaints and unmet expectations. Three of his major projects are stuck in different stages of production.

The films in question are Hari Hara Veera Mallu, OG, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

Despite the delays, Pawan is reportedly committed to completing all three, given the hefty advances and contractual obligations involved. Hari Hara Veera Mallu has finally wrapped up after years of postponement. It may hit the screens as early as June 14.

OG, directed by Sujeeth, is also nearing completion. Pawan will be seen in a gangster role. Meanwhile, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar, is still in production. In this film, Pawan plays a fearless cop.

According to some reports, a fourth project may soon join the list. Producer Ram Talluri, who paid Pawan an advance three years ago for a film initially planned with Surender Reddy, is now hunting for a new director to revive it.

However, the reality on the ground is concerning. The three existing projects are already struggling due to Pawan’s political commitments. Hari Hara Veera Mallu barely escaped this bottleneck as the shoot was finally completed recently. But OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh remain stuck.

The longer these films are delayed, the higher the production costs rise due to accumulating interest. Public interest also slowly fades away due to the delays in such scenarios.

Amidst all this, Ram Talluri wants to step in with another film. Unless there is proper planning, confirmed dates, and fixed timelines to shoot the film, this new project might also get stuck like the others.

For now, fans remain hopeful. They want their star to strike a balance between politics and cinema — and deliver both on-screen magic and off-screen impact.
