Ram Charan has officially started work on his next film, an untitled sports drama, currently referred to as #RC16. The regular shooting began last week, and today, Ram Charan joined the sets in Mysore.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is now in production. For this role, Ram Charan has kept his bearded look and has also bulked up his physique.

Now Buchi Babu Sana has posted a picture on his social media account saying, “Global Star Ram Charan gets a solid makeover by Aalim Hakim Ji. Super excited!”
In the pic, we see a glimpse of Ram Charan undergoing a stylish transformation. Celebrated hairstylist Aalim Hakim, known for his edgy makeovers, stands confidently in the center with his arms crossed.

On his left is director Buchi Babu Sana looking focused and excited about the process. Ram Charan, partially visible from behind, is seated, hinting at his new look.
It is good to see a top star like Ram Charan giving a free hand to a relatively small director like Buchi Babu Sana, who is just one film old.

Unless the director is like SS Rajamouli, Prashanth Neel, or Sandeep Reddy Vanga, these days Tier 1 stars do not give much respect or freedom to directors in the public space.
Other directors do not get the same respect these directors receive from the stars. Recently, we saw this with Koratala Siva during Devara, where NTR took over completely, which was reflected in the film as well.
But in the case of RC 16, despite being a not-so-big director, Buchi Babu Sana has been given the responsibility to provide updates about the film and take crucial calls and decisions.
Ram Charan is setting a good example by giving respect and responsibility to a director, no matter how big or small he is.
