SRK starrer Koyla might come under some of his classic 90s films now, but there was a point when the film performed underwhelmingly and put the director Rakesh Roshan’s entire life earnings at risk. A video has been resurfacing online in which Hrithik Roshan can be seen talking about the same.
Hrithik shared that the first time he saw his father cry was after Koyla did not perform as well as he had expected. He said that his father lost all his earnings in the project and was in a very difficult position.

Though he did not point fingers at SRK, fans immediately connected the dots. They felt that Hrithik might be blaming Shah Rukh for the trouble that his father faced.
SRK and Rakesh Roshan have a friendly relationship today, but indeed they have seen the worst of times together. Koyla was a 90s film with a strong star cast and is considered a good watch now, however fans are saying that “SRK made his director cry”.
