    Rajkummar Rao To Play A Gangster In Kuma Taurani’s Maalik

    2024 has been a lucky year for Rajkummar Rao as he is enjoying the success of his projects. For sure, no one expected his films to cross the mark of Rs. 50 crores. But the content of Stree 2 proved everyone wrong and it is doing wonders at the box office by breaking the records held by other blockbusters that came out last year.

    The Newton star recently turned 40 and he is seemingly planning to get back to work as soon as possible. While Rao has two films in the upcoming lineup, he chose his birthday to announce another project, titled Maalik. Notably, the film has been teased since yesterday and fans are now excited about it.

    The poster shows Rao in a white outfit with a gun in his hand, giving an intense look to the camera. He is standing on top of a police jeep, which seemingly hints at the fact that the character will be fearless. A tweet posted by popular film critic Taran Adarsh revealed that Rao would appear as a gangster.

    Maalik is produced by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakraman, with Pulkit in the director’s seat. Although filming has already started, further updates are currently awaited on a release date alongside the rest of the cast members.

    No one can deny the fact that Rajkummar Rao has the potential to grab the position of a big star. Unfortunately, his best films have always been ignored, specifically on single screens where audiences prefer to watch more heroism.
