Dhanush’s Raayan, which was his milestone 50th film, was released in theatres on July 26th and became the highest-grossing movie of this year in Kollywood. After the blockbuster success in its theatrical run, the movie is conquering OTT too.
Dhanush’s Raayan has collected more than 150 crores worldwide and has become one of the most profitable ventures for the production house. Even though the movie acquired mixed responses from the audiences, it managed to become the career-best highest-grossing movie for the Dhanush.

Also, the Sun Pictures CEO who produced this movie has praised Dhanush for his success and also gifted two cheques, one for his acting and another for his direction. The movie started streaming on Amazon Prime on August 23rd; on the other hand, Prabhas’s Kalki 2989 AD started streaming on the same Amazon Prime on August 22nd. Now, as per the trending movie on the OTT platform, Raayan dominates Kalki 2898 AD and is trending in the No. 1 position in the India trends. While the Kalki was trending in the second position.
It looks like Dhanush’s Raayan was a major hit on the OTT too after its remarkable run in theatres. As it was his 50th film, it has become a memorable milestone for the actor Dhanush.
