R Ashwin’s parody account has taken an indirect dig at Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid for dropping him from the ongoing World Test Championship final against Australia. He replied to a tweet by famous sports journalist Vikrant Gupta.
Vikrant wrote about Nathan Lyon’s ball to Ravindra Jadeja. For the record, Lyon is Australia’s off-spinner and his delivery got rid of the Indian batter.
With many left-handers in the Australian batting line-up, the cricket experts were surprised to see Ashwin’s name missing from the team sheet.
Sourav Ganguly slammed the team management for leaving out a bowler, who has more than 450 Test wickets.
Jadeja, who was preferred over Ashwin, took 1 wicket but scored a fifty.
