In Sukumar’s previous films, “Nannaku Prematho” and “Rangasthalam,” Jagapathi Babu played the antagonist.
Many expected Sukumar to cast him in the role again in “Pushpa,” but this did not happen.
Instead, Sukumar cast Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil as Allu Arjun’s nemesis, and the film was a box office success.
Now, the production of the second installment, “Pushpa 2,” has been relocated to Vizag, and Allu Arjun is participating in sequences related to the port.
The latest buzz is that Jagapathi Babu will join the cast of “Pushpa 2” in an entirely new role.
Sukumar previously stated that the second film will feature new characters in addition to the continuation of characters from the first film, and it remains to be seen where Jagapathi Babu fits in the story.
