Pushpa 2: The Rule in Telangana is facing controversy due to the significant hike in ticket prices.
The ticket rate for premiere shows on the evening of December 4 is capped at Rs. 1200. For regular shows, the prices are set at Rs. 531 for multiplexes and Rs. 354 for single screens.

This has sparked a backlash from moviegoers, especially from middle-class and family audiences. They feel that the increased rates make it difficult for them to afford the tickets.
A petition has been filed in the Telangana High Court challenging the ticket rate hike. A hearing will take place tomorrow.

While the producer has the right to set prices, many are questioning whether such high ticket prices are reasonable.
Some audiences have already voiced their displeasure by suggesting a potential boycott.
