Allu Arjun’s most anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on December 5th. As there was still only one day left before the release of the movie, the pre-bookings for the movie were happening at a fast pace across the world.
In this scenario, still, many theatres in Tamil Nadu were not opening the bookings for the movie, and as per reports, the terms demanded by the Tamil Nadu distributors were too high, many theatres were still in talks, and some theatres even refused it.

Also, there was speculation that the distributors were pressured by the production houses to demand a huge percentage in terms, and this was the major reason for the delay in opening the presales bookings in Tamil Nadu.
In this scenario, despite these issues, the bookings of the movie in the theatres so far were also still average in rural areas in Tamil Nadu due to Cyclone Fengal, which caused a severe impact in Tamil Nadu a few days ago. In Chennai City so far 65% of tickets were sold for the first day, which guarantees a decent opening.

A journalist also filed a petition in Hyderabad against the Pushpa 2 production house due to overpricing tickets, and now distribution issues in Tamil Nadu look like Pushpa 2 producers greediness is a major issue for not having the smooth release, says the audience on social media.
Let us hope that the theatre owners and Tamil Nadu distributors will come up with the proper terms and the pre-bookings of the movie will open either by today evening or tomorrow morning, as there is still only one day left for the release of Pushpa 2.
