As December approaches the Bollywood calendar, a huge storm awaits the cinemas as Varun Dhawan’s Baby John is ready to take over Christmas 2024. Despite having a good theatrical trailer, the hype for Baby John seems to be underwhelming.
Given the scenario, fans expected the film to be deadlier and have good hype. However, it seems that Bollywood will be having a rough patch this December unlike in 2023. Films like Animal, Sam Bahadur, and Dunki ruled December last year smashing ₹1100cr+ at the Indian Box office.

The same might not be predicted for this December as the only film releasing this December is Baby John. Despite having a few more releases like Vanvaas this Christmas, the only movie that stands out as a high-profile movie is Baby John.
However, it seems that even Baby John might not be able to dominate the box office despite having mediocre releases with it. The only film that will be dominating the December box office is Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.

The hype for the film is unreal over the internet and despite not having a Christmas release, the film might go all way long to Christmas with high ticket sales given the hype and fanbase. The promos, songs, and teasers for the films are currently getting viral on the internet despite getting mixed reviews.
Pushpa’s positive word of mouth is also important for the film to have an extended run. All in all, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is about to steal all the thunder and applause from Bollywood and might overperform Varun Dhawan’s Baby John with this pace.
