Pushpa 2 Hindi Response: Who’s the Culprit?

After a long wait, the makers finally unveiled the much-awaited trailer of Pushpa 2. As expected, the Hindi audience has given mixed reactions.

Allu Arjun looked smashing, Rashmika’s character and her chemistry with Pushpa seemed intriguing, and the action sequences appeared solid.

However, the Hindi audience felt the trailer lacked wow moments and expected more highs. There were some cringe moments as well.

The dialogues also felt quite ordinary, with not enough punch. Shreyas Talpade’s Hindi dubbing for Allu Arjun is decent but could have been better. He tried a Marathi accent, calling Rashmika his Bayko (wife), but it didn’t come across as natural.

The dubbing for other characters also felt pretty mediocre, especially Rashmika’s Srivalli. The trailer gives the feel of a South film dubbed in Hindi and not a proper Hindi film.

The success of Pushpa 1 was unexpected, so it can be understood that the makers didn’t pay much attention to the Hindi dubbed version.

But now Pushpa 2 is a big brand with unprecedented reach and scope. The makers had ample time to come up with better dialogues, lyrics, and dubbing quality. It seems they have done a hurried job here as well, just like in Part 1.

Despite this, the majority of viewers have given it a thumbs-up. While the trailer may not have taken the buzz to the next level, it has kept the immense curiosity around the film intact.

The Hindi trailer of Pushpa 2 has garnered nearly 50 million views on YouTube in 24 hours, surpassing even blockbusters like KGF 2 and Jawan.

For the Hindi version, historical numbers are expected. An opening of 55–60 crores net seems a sure shot. If the buzz intensifies, the number could even touch 75 crores net, including paid premieres.
