Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is getting ready for a grand release on December 5. It has created a massive buzz, especially after the positive response to its trailer which was released in Patna, where a crowd of 3 lakh people gathered.
Later in the same month, Varun Dhawan’s Baby John is scheduled to hit screens on December 25.

He believes Pushpa 2 will dominate the box office, and releasing Baby John in the same month might hurt both films.
Manoj Desai referenced the recent clash between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, where both films started strong but one suffered later. He suggested postponing Baby John by a week to avoid any dent in their box office collections.

Pushpa 2 is undoubtedly huge, but Baby John will be released three weeks after Pushpa 2. By that time, the euphoria around Pushpa 2 would have subsided considerably, and a new release could easily perform well if the film turned out to be good.
They are not releasing simultaneously like Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Allowing a whole month for a single film doesn’t seem beneficial for the industry and is too risky.
What if Pushpa 2 doesn’t live up to expectations? The month would be wasted, which could be disastrous for the film industry, distributors, and exhibitors.
If Pushpa 2 delivers as expected, it will still have a good number of screens and shows and can perform well even after Baby John’s release. It’s too significant a film to be affected by Baby John.
Similarly, if the word of mouth for Baby John is positive, it can succeed even alongside Pushpa 2.
But one thing is for sure, Pushpa 2 is giving nightmares to Bollywood films in their own strong belts.
