Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has performed well until the first Sunday, collecting $9.9 million. However, once Monday arrived the film started to witness a decline in numbers.
The first significant drop came from its Telugu version. On its first Monday in North America, Pushpa 2 Telugu version collected only $127,595, signaling a red alert.

For a film that had already collected over $9 million by Sunday, the Telugu version’s mere $127K on Monday, followed by $148K on Tuesday, made it clear that Pushpa 2 had significantly dropped after the first weekend in North America.
For Pushpa 2 to reach its break-even point of $15 million, a strong hold during the second week is crucial.

If the film relies only on the Telugu version, it seems unlikely to hit the break-even mark. However, the Hindi version has performed well and is still contributing decently, which could help the film moving forward in terms of box-office numbers.
Although not exceptional, the Hindi version collected $350K on Monday and $422K on Tuesday, which are decent but not sufficient unless there is a significant jump over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from the Hindi version.

A positive development is that the U.S. distributor has lowered ticket prices to theater-standard rates and enabled all passes from today at major theater chains like Cinemark, Regal, and AMC. This should push the sales, to those who did not go to the movie due to high ticket prices may give it a chance now.
It’s not common for a big-budget film to drop prices this quickly, but this is happening for Pushpa 2 in the U.S.
Pushpa 2 still needs to collect over $4 million in North America to reach the break-even point. This weekend’s Hindi version’s performance will make things clear.
