Pushpa 2 has shown a record number of pre-booked ticket sales today and it is going to be a blast at the box office.
But producers and distributors are trying to cash in extra money by fooling audiences in the name of 3D and Imax formats. If ticket prices are hiked for such a gigantic release, it is understandable and is usually done too. But cajoling them for a 3D screening does not seem to be an ethical idea.

A few big theater chains have called this out and said strict action must be taken against it. They said, “In a way, we need to put a stop to this practice, as we’re unfairly blamed for quality issues that originate from the film’s output itself.”
The movie is an out and out commercial flick and is not shot with heavy CGI. It does not have the utmost necessity to be experienced in 3D.

Exploiting the excitement and hype of people for the movie is indeed wrong and will not yield much result too. However, people are being fooled by the multiplexes and spending extra money for the 3D or Imax experience, where it will not differ much from the actual 2D screening.
