Kavin, after back-to-back hits in Kollywood with his last releases such as Dada and Star, was back with Bloody Beggar this time, which was released yesterday as a Diwali special.

Bloody Beggar was directed by Debutant Sivabalan Muthukumar, and this movie was produced by Nelson Dilipkumar’s Filament Pictures, and also this movie was his first as a producer.
As the Amaran and Brother movie was distributed by Red Giant Movies, Kavin’s Bloody Beggar has opened with only limited theatres in Tamilnadu. This movie held decent expectations before the release, as the trailer and promos were good and acquired positive responses.

However, the responses from the audience were not positive after the movie. Looks like Bloody Beggar is a dark comedy thriller with social commentary. Kavin shines with his strong performances in the movie, and every Audience praised his performance after the movie.
Although Kavin’s performance was good in the movie, the movie dips in many places, and some dark comedy portions work well, but some were not up to the mark and also lag in many places says the audience.

By early estimates, Kavin’s Bloody Beggar movie has acquired 2 crores in the Tamil Nadu box office on its opening day, and it’s a decent opening for a medium-budget movie, say the trade sources.
