Priyanka Chopra’s much-awaited comeback to Indian films has created huge excitement, more so because it has been rumoured that she would be appearing in SS Rajamouli’s next movie, titled tentatively as SSMB29.
Also, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra recently dropped a few hints regarding her daughter’s part in the venture while addressing Lehren Retro.

When asked about Priyanka Chopra’s role in SSMB29, Madhu Chopra gave a subtle confirmation. She said, “Vahin shooting pe hain voh” (She is shooting the film).
The interviewer also mentioned Priyanka’s presence in Hyderabad for the shoot, to which Madhu nodded in agreement.

Directed by the mastermind SS Rajamouli and produced by Mahesh Babu, SSMB29 is shaping into a cinematic marvel. The movie is presently in its second shoot schedule at Hyderabad’s Aluminium Factory.
As reported, it’s a jungle adventure with Priyanka Chopra playing an apparently significant role-nearly the main villain!

This movie would be Priyanka’s grand return to Indian films after so many years. Interestingly, the fans are looking forward to an announcement and confirmation from Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli.
It is a budget affair that has chosen to go two-part. Shoot will be completed by 2026, and releases will then be made in 2027 and 2028.
Also, as per the sources, Rajamouli is reportedly searching through two titles-Garuda and Maharaj-and prefers the latter.
